Why I Make These

I began years ago making tiny preemie booties and a small comfort octopus. Over time, I added micro blankets and hats, and eventually designed the cocoon that became this cuddle cradle. I know how difficult… and scary… it can feel to hold a micro preemie during those tender moments in the hospital. My hope is that this set offers a small measure of comfort and dignity, and something meaningful to keep.
