I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm really ready for Fall.  A nice long gentle Fall with crisp morning air and pleasant breezy days.

I can't wait to hear the crackle of leaves under my feet, feel the need to grab a jacket when I walk out the door and really enjoy when the sun comes in the window, because the heat of Summer has given way to the cool crisp air of Autumn.

Another great thing about this time of year?  People start giving thought to wanting to be warm when Winter hits.   During the Summer everyone seems to equate quilts with freezing Winter days.  My goal next year is to change their perception.  We'll see how that goes.

For now I've come to realize that most of my business is custom orders, however I find myself thinking about making up ready to ship items to have on hand for those inevitable last minute Christmas shoppers in November and December.  Last year was non-stop making from the end of September to the week before Christmas.  I'm not sure I can do that again like that.

If all goes well I'll have a stack of quilts and a pile of pocket pillows ready to ship.

We all appreciate having time to put our best work out there for you to give.

Well I guess I've rambled enough.  I hope you will come back and let us update you on what's going on behind the scenes as we get ready for Halloween and Christmas!    ~Tracey
