Okay, good old Facebook showed me something that I shared four years ago today, can you guess what it was?

It was a graphic showing that Christmas is only 15 Fridays away!   EEeekkk!

I give my friend, Peggy, a hard time and tease her with the countdown to Christmas all of the time, but today I was not prepared to see that reminder.  

This year my plan was to have all of my own Christmas gifts made and ready by the end of October... ummm, I'm so far from meeting that goal,, I feel like I went to sleep all cozy and happy that Summer was giving way to Fall and woke up staring at Christmas fast approaching.

Anyone else feel like this?  

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays.  I love the sounds, scents and atmosphere.  However, as a handmade artisan it can be a bit unnerving knowing

that it's just around the corner. 

I have several Christmas stockings, Christmas tree skirts and several quilts I sitting on my sewing table to be completed.   

Guess I better get on the ball!
